Revolutionary new software ;)

Just had my latest call from Jsearch - I was getting a bit worried as I hadn't heard from them for a couple of weeks.

The girl said they have developed some new software to increase the number of click throughs from Banner Ads. Great, I thought, just what I'm after.

Turns out this revolutionary idea is to put the banner at the bottom of their search page as well as the top!

But wouldn't this be useless, I said, as the last time you called you said you had a million people downloading your toolbar so that the keywords you are flogging will work. So people won't have to visit your search page, will they?

"dunno",came the reply, "I work in a different department."

Classic.

Well, just checked it out, and i've seen the best news i've had all day - Jsearch have sold the keyword they usually try to flog to us to another company!
At last! Perhaps we wont be hearing from them quite as much now. The poor saps have bought top and bottom banners, and a skyscraper on the side.

Mind you, i'm sure they'll call us through one of the other 10 websites we run. :-(

27 banners on the home page!

Does anyone actually do anything beyond become mesmerized by all the moving gifs?

To paraphrase "A Bugs Life"

"Stay away from the gifs"

"But I can't help it... they're beautiful...."

How the hell do they survive? We've had lots of calls from them as well- the first time I looked up the homepage as soon as she said Jsearch and I just started laughing.

lol...its like one big moving page!

It reminds me of the floor in the Indiana Jones film...u know when they're walking thru the tunnel and theirs loads of insects on it! ;)

Perhaps one of you Web Marketing consultants should give them a call and offer to re work their site! ;)
