Yahoo UK

Can I submit more than one page from same domain?

Just wanting somebody to confirm whether its safe to pay £200 for another page within my site to go into yahoo.

E.g www.mysite.com/mine/

would that be acceptable if the content was different of course and that www.mysite.com is already in the directory?

hi,

unless it warrants a seperate listing, then it is very unlikely that the 2nd page will be included.

in the cases I have seen, its been allowed when it is relevant and especailly with a subdomain.

eg: www.ahealthsite.co.uk (already in yahoo)
news.ahealthsite.co.uk has been included because it could be relevant in a different category.

personally I would not bother, although we got a FREE 2nd page listed without requesting this (based on the above scenario)

Why not use Espotting if your looking at getting additional keywords into Yahoo

tigger, excellent point (especially since espotting now encourage links direct to content page, rather than home page)

but I get the impression that "prejudice" is looking more for a direct listing in a yahoo category (and PR bonus) especially since we in the UK are still Yahoo and not Yahoogle (soon changing though)

Thanks for replying guys,

My situation is I sell a product to the UK, which can be bought by UK residents on the main site, but if I was to have a seperate page on my site, would I be able to add this to an Irish directory within Yahoo? (there is an Irish directory which exists for my product)

I have experimented with Espotting, it is always an option and a very valid point.

Whats this about yahooUk? will it soon be another Google Portal?

I'm getting tired of Google taking over, I do well in the search terms, but I still don't like the way they are taking over.
