Hidden Text on Yahoo! Express

Does this effect chances of a listing?

Hi

I've 375 characters of hidden text (using css) on 5 pages of a brand new 10 page site - 1 of which is the home page.

I also have 5 hidden text links (using css) on the same 5 pages.

The text is hidden for design reasons.

When I submit the site to Yahoo! UK business express, will the hidden text count against me?

How do dmoz, zeal & looksmart directory Eds feel about this?

TIA
J

I don't think reviewers like it. It may not get you rejected in pay to play but dmoz editors may reject you for it. What is the design reason for the text?

Hi Korkus - thx for that. Its basically just a very pretty site with all the headings in images, flash on the home page and on the site nav and reluctance from the client to do "nice" seo stuff as it provokes a "ugh"!
Any alternatives....?

Johnser maybe you could remove the hidden text during the submission process? Once you're listed you have freedom to change your site - but if they catch you and don't like it you might lose the submission money.

yeh, that might be the best plan all right - less risky for £200. Thanks people.
