We're going to sumbit the site to Yahoo! Business express for a new branded website in the UK. Problem, the registrant is the director's name and not the brand of the website. The brand contains the keywords of course!
Clearly, everything on the website, including the business is tailored for the new brand - but we're concerned that the registrant will cause a problem..
Put it this way - we can't "legally" change the registrant for the .co.uk record to match the brand; So, should we be concerned?
Has anyone had experience of this for .co.uk records in the UK? Our last resort will be to use a .com record instead...

A lot of the commercial sites which I have submitted were similar inscenario to yours.
Shak
Bit of a no-brainer really.
Good advice from the other guys here.
The key's to Yahoo listing is your site:
Make sure your site is 100% good - no broken links, etc.
Choose your category with great care. The editors are always looking for something different to add to a particular category. Sometimes, if your site is very similar to a number of others in a category, look at an alternative category that is less well endowed with "competing" sites.
Read and review the sites in your chosen category - make sure your site and entry is different.
Write your entry with great care. No puff, just facts.
Follow their guidelines to the letter and apply the rules as if you were not emotionally attached to your site.
Unfortunately, it's still no guarantee as they say on their site.
Which is clearly seen as all other New entries are at the bottom of their lists. I must say I read all the doco on Yahoo! and never knew this - Ok like I said, I'm learning all the time... :)
What options for improving this are there - clearly given the natural course of the site it will gradually move up the listings... Can anyone offer some insight into how click-throughs work on Yahoo? Specifically, things that might have been tried before to improve listings and should be avoided! :)
