Sorry wasn't too sure which forum to post this on so mods feel free to move it :)

Just got a call from a company called Reach Global who reckon they can get me between 10,000 and 1,000,000 of targeted UK visitors from £699.

Basically they open your site in a pop under window when somebody visits a similar site.

The example they showed me worked well but when I searched for the "trigger" site on any search engine I couldn't find it.

There website is http*://www.reach-global.co.uk but apparently their "IT People are too busy perfecting their program to complete their site" [actual quote!]

Anybody have any experience of this company. I would love for this be true but something tells me to keep away.

Peter

Discount such claims they are almost certainly not worth the money. There are better places to spend your adverting revenue.

If it sounds too good to be true, then its too good to be true.

Hmm. thats a big margin for error. If you look at the claim carefully it means almost nothing. The only thing they are saying is that you will get 10,000 (targeted?) visitors for not less than 699. And are people who respond to unexpected pop ups they didnt ask for really targeted? (Obvious answer to that one) It smells like spin spin spin to me.

DONT do it,

I ran a campaign similar to the 1 above, and conversion rate was 1/2498 compared to normal rate of 1/14

absolute waste of money, and most people close the browser/site before they even glance at it.

Thanks for the advice.

Think I'll stay clear of this one.
