Has anyone got any idea as to why it is, that when using Pipex Broadband (UK), that typing in [google.com...] results in an automatic redirect to [google.nl...] in the Dutch language? It is rather annoying. Have to use [google.co.uk...] instead.

Yep, this happened to me - presumably it's a 'blind spot' in Google's IP/Location database. The cure is simple enough, just click on the 'Google in English' link on google.nl, which will set a cookie on your machine which turns off the redirection for future visits.

Heh, thanks a lot. I'm often redirected to other places when visiting sites, but this is the first time that I have ever been diverted to somewhere that was so blatently wrong. It surprised me that Google could get such a thing wrong!
