Excite UK

Have you seen the preview feature.

When browsing through the serps on Excite UK there is an option to preview a website. When clicked on this opens the page (within the serp) the surfer is them able to browse through the site without leaving the Excite serp. Is this new or am I just slow to catch on?

I haven't seen it before. I'm not convinced that it leads to a better user experience but it will for sure result in noise in the log files. you can't tell if the user actually visited the site or if they just had a peek.
