Does anyone know when or how often Lycos.co.uk updates? It seems to me like they haven't done a lot for about 14-15 weeks now.

Hi Gaz, and welcome to wmw.

If you are referring to the search results, these are based upon alltheweb's db, filtered for the UK. That db is updated quite frequently and you shouldn't be waiting more than a few weeks.
For the Lycos directory, well, that has been a challenge and I've not yet seen any new additions of mine for some time.

My directory entry was only completed a couple of weeks ago and is now appearing. Its a new site, so something must be stirring.

4eyes, great news, there's hope, in that case. I pointed out a dead link in one category and it remains in the directory.

I'd guess they are a bit stretched. ;)

Yahoo.co.uk contacted me a couple of weeks ago concerning my listing. They were going to remove it as it contained an ad to a (USA) site which sells adult videos not rated for the UK.

So this suggests they are working on it. Given this, I'm also puzzled to hear that it is a filteres AllTheWeb directory..
