I had one co.uk site rejected from yahoo.co.uk cause "the site is allready listed under .com", what can I do?

The products are the same, the site design and brand is the same, but I'd like to show up under regional sites too (UK sites only)

How do you overcome the semilarity barrier between UK english and US english?

I know you wont like it, but i was in the same situation long ago, the tip i got was to choice which one i would like to see, either the .com or the .mycountry :)
If you ask for the .com to be removed the will probably list your .co.uk otherwise, no.

You can always register another domain, similar and have the same content.

What if ulstrup did a quick redesign, changed some of the content ... add a little here and there and resubmit telling yahoo the site belongs to his UK branch? Would it fly?

Don't know there is still that problem that they don't want domain duplicates but i always think he could give it a shoot, if he feels that he have the time and energy to do it.

Liane, nice suggestion, but a redesign would betray the brand, the products are sold all over the world and unfortunalte most of them have the english names, i.e. hardware, cpu, ram etc.

I will redefine the index page to be more UK specific, I've changed every z to s (optimization-->optimisation), give it a try and let you know.
