Well I guess it was only a matter of time before this happened but the people at looksmart UK have now made it that you have to pay just to get a bod to look at your site.
£99 what a bargain NOT

Oh well here's another uk search engine down the pan, anyone got any idea on the stats for which uk based SE are the most popular

Looksmart provide a reasonable directory. But, take a look through here [webmasterworld.com] to see how this started.

I read somewhere here, but can't locate it now, that you'de be better off with a good goto position. Now, if only i could find that thread.

It's a shame they decided to charge - they were always a good way into MSN :(

Myself, I get good visits from UK Plus, Lifestyle, and lots of clients do well on UK Directory, but not me (plus I don't like it's new design)
