tiscali.co.uk - using Google

Is this syndicated Looksmart going Google?

I have just found that tiscali.co.uk is using Google backfill to its Looksmart results.

Is this news or has it always been thus.

I couldn't really say if it is new in the UK, but Tiscali has used FAST on their european portals since november.

In the UK they seem to be using the syndicated Looksmart.co.uk results, and we have just seen Looksmart.co.uk move from Inktomi backfill to Google backfill.

I am trying to work out whether the other portals using syndicated LS will also fall to Google.

I certainly expect BT to go as they are hand in hand with Looksmart.co.uk

Just to update the last posts here and in other thread re tiscali, ntl and bt, I've got Google referrals from both on a site not listed by Inktomi.

Yes - it looks like all syndicated Looksmart is now Google.
