Hi all, I know this is a dumb question but where to ask.co.uk get their database from.

I notice that the have a large section in the middle of the results page that is direct hit and at the bottom they offer espotting, overture and mirago. At the top they seem to return results from paying directories related to your search term.

I'm I way off the mark here?

Their site states:

Jeeves welcomes your requests to evaluate a website. Please send the URL and a brief description of the site via url@askjeeves.co.uk . However, because Ask Jeeves links are created by human researchers, not by machine, he does not guarantee that it will be put into the Ask Jeeves database or that it will happen quickly. He only includes URLs in the Ask Jeeves knowledgebase if he thinks that the site provides good answers to the questions our users want answered.

I haven't read anything anywhere that suggests that this isn't the case - but then again neither of my sites seem to have made it in yet.
