Anyone getting joy out of Lifestyle directory?

Just did my first ever submission yesterday, I think because they placed well in a search I ran. Can't see a lot of traffic coming, but a link is a link.

I'll certainly let you know if they send any referrals.

I used to a year ago and they were good for external links for inktomi search engines. Can't say I've been impressed since then, though.

Nothing special, but see a few referrals on some sites (1st page of category about 50 per month). Only see people coming through the directory side, so best to try and make the first page of the category if possible - site name starting with A or B... ;)

I've seen a dribble of traffic over the years.
I'm going to take a closer look to investigate the potential.

I'm seeing traffic, although it's not great. Part of the problem is when they re-write the description to remove important keywords.

Out of interest where does it promote itself - Where have I missed seeing it advertised? I would have thought its not very well known ........apart that is from us saddies :)

Lifestyle's most important partner, IMHO, is AOL UK, although the directory appears on many other sites.
I can't say i've seen them advertise, but, the link to search from important sites is probably the best way to create exposure.
