Excite UK shows results from Goto (Overture)

Take a look at the results from Excite UK and you'll see results from GoTo (Overture).

We knew there would be chnages at Excite UK, but, did we expect this???

That’s now most of the main UK engines showing Overture results what a bleak day :(

Whats next on the Overture hit list?

This now makes the top 10 identical to Freeserve - so much for capitalism giving people choice.

The major UK players unaffected by Goto are AOL, Yahoo, Google & Lycos UK

On closer investigation it appears that Excite are only showing the ppc listings, not the Inktomi generated listings from Goto.

I'm sure Freeserve used to list the Uk Goto results exactly, but looking at them today there seems to be some variation. Does anyone know where the non ppc results are coming from? Is it Inktomi via Goto with a twist?

True Excite results show after ALL the UK Overture PPC listings are exhausted. A bit like Freeserve which then shows Overture US Inktomi listings after all UK Overture PPC results have been shown.
