Can anyone tell me how often Google UK refreshes and when they are next due to..

Uk is a filter of the main db's usually every four weeks, but the last couple of months are a bit sparadic, i usually find towards the end of the month, 20th onwards for a few days, with updates bouncing around the farms, but this month, i am still seeing google bouncing, though should settle in a couple of days. Check
www2.google.com for the latest cache of your site, if this is the same as www., then look at www2. at the end of the month.

Or just come here reguarly, and you'll see when all the SE's are on crawls, or updating their indexes.

Actually, the data is filtered from Google.com so you should see the same update.

I have submitted my co.uk site via Google.co.uk on 14/09/01 so I guess it may be a bit early to have been picked up. Do I need to submit via Google.com as well or does it all end up in the same DB

Woody, it'll end up in the same place so need to submit to Google.com.

Make sure you have inbound links from sites that are already in Google's index and Googlebot will come and find your site anyway. That method is far better than submitting your site again. ;)
