>espotting
Pretty good for UK traffic IMO. Good level of traffic due to espottings surprisingly impressive ability to negotiate deals with various companies, i.e. askjeeves, uk plus etc.
The top 5 five search results are shown at the top of the SERPS for UK PLUS, and in my case this brings in the most traffic.
Two things you have to watch for though;
1. The editors try to add keywords and key-phrases for you - without your permission - obviously so you attract more hits. I emailed my distaste at this practice and our site was promptly tagged as a 'don't interfere' site.
2. The bid prices seem higher for most searches than some of the competition. Also, the minumum PPC is 5 pence - and when you open your account (and subsequent top-ups) you pay VAT on top of the amount. VAT can obviously be avoided when dealing with american PPC SE's such as Sprinks.
I know that some will argue that UK Plus is not worth the hassle but I've found the refferals from it, via espotting, worth the cost.
Bung them £50 (+VAT), tell them not interfere with your listings and give it a whirl. The only deciding factor is the current bid prices - if you can achieve a top 5 listing for most of your main KW's or key-phrases with your pre-determined cost per click ceiling price, you have nothing to lose :)
I've had some contact with Espotting, they tried to pressure me to replace our Goto links with their (hmm I said!), having said that though, they did appear to have a better UK reach than Goto so I figured if I used both Goto and Espot I could get a fairly broad exposure. It's a bit of a pity that their min bid is 5p since the keywords I have in mind don't seem to attract much attention elsewhere but I'll still have to pay for the visits! still, that's life.
