Hi guys. Am i correct in thinking that the Altavista UK spider deep crawls? so all i need to do is sub the index page?

+ does anyone have an idea of how often the uk version updates at the moment? I've lost track!!!!

AV-uk follows links to other pages, certainly, but doesn't crawl deeply. If your pages are not within a couple of links from the index page it might be wise to submit them too.

I'm not certain about timing, it is a bit erratic but I think it is roughly monthly.
