Has anyone else had problems submitting today and yesterday? I get the standard:

WARNING: When we tried to obtain your URL, we got an error. If this is a 404 ("Not Found") then the site will be removed from the index (this may also occur if your server is down briefly). If you have misspelt it then just resubmit it.

When the servers are most definately up. Clearly a problem at their end but worst case scenario is that they pull the pages.

Also..

Seen a rejig of AVuk listings this afternoon. Worth checking out- look similar to serps from a couple of months ago.

Vis, Hi,
I think they are updating the DB.
Give it a little while and it may settle down.

Hi Vis and engine,

I received the same error message yesterday also when submitting to AV UK. Thought it was because I submitted an .asp.

Do you know if AV accepts .asp's?

Yep, asp goes down fine at AVUK. (try doing a search for asp and you will see pages indexed.)

AVUK submit has been down all week, hopefully they are changing it to the US-style form of submission.

I got exactly the same message yesterday and today... regardless of which URL I submitted.

I agree they must be updating the database as they have had a mega surge in terms of number of crawls for my site this month.

I have contacts at AVuk I will ask her - never know may get a useful answer?
