Has anyone else noticed how often the lead story in the UK Politics section of Google News is way out-of-date?
The present lead story is from 5th Oct, and is completely overtaken by events. This sort of thing is a regular occurrance in this section. All other subjects seem OK.
Wonder why...

I can't actually find a specific Poilitics section gstewart, either in the dot com version of Google news, or the dot co dot uk edition. And all the news stories seem up to date to me. What is it that you're looking at that has a story from October 5th on it?

There's an option in Google News (mine is the com version, seen in the UK) to customise the categories of news shown on your page - one of the choices on offer is UK Politics, which is where we're being told by UPI, as a lead story, that Ken Clark is all set to restore faith in Brit politics - as all UK voters know he was ejected from the contest on the 18th October.
