Who provides the portal listings

I know the PFP but what about the rest

It was only recently I realised how far behind I had got, after reading the previous topic, has anyone got the answer to the question:

Who provides the rest of the listings after the PFP (Overture etc) provide the paid for?

I was looking at:
AOL - still Google
MSN -?
Wanadoo - Apparently now Inktomi
Yahoo -?
Alta Vista -?
Tiscali -?
Lycos -?
Ask Jeeves - Tehoma

Please prove that its not just smarties that have the answer... cos they do you know!

MSN currently use Yahoo! for their free listings and Overture for their PPC listings.

Yahoo populate their own free listings themselves. They use Overture for their PPC listings and have their own web directory.

Altavista search engine is now owned by Yahoo, because of this their listings are identical to Yahoo! UK, except that they use Dmoz for their directory.

Lycos use Yahoo for their free listings and Overture for PPC. Dmoz are used to Populate their directory.

AskJeeves use Teoma for their free listings and Google Adwords for PPC. Dmoz are used to fill their own directory.

That is unless its all changed, again ;)
