Hi,

I've just found out my server is in America. My domain name is .com. Im having trouble getting into the results in the co.uk of google, so i got my host to set up an alias of my domain name to mysitename.co.uk, but when i go into google in the .co.uk side and type site:mydomainname.com im not even listed, any suggestions?

Cheers

I had the same issue. I spoke to Google Guy and numerous others. They all said move it.

So I did and it worked.

I suggest you move it to an ISP in the UK.

Simple as that. :-)

My servers are in the US and now that I have my main domain as .co.uk and .com as an addon I am fully indexed in the UK only search despite having servers located in the US.

We too have our .co.uk domains hosted in the US and do well in google.co.uk and .com on all of our keywords.

Bek.

I have now changed over to a different hosting company based in the UK and with an British IP address, this was changed over last Saturday. Does anyone know how long it will take till i start getting listed in the .co.uk side of Google.

Cheers
