I thought tiscali.co.uk and uknetguide were free to add a business site to?

But I can't seem to find the specific add url pages for them - any ideas where they are exactly please?

Dougie.

Many thanks for the input.

If you follow that link through for uknetguide, you'll see it's not free.

It is free if you provide a reciprocal link. Otherwise there is a charge.

yes I saw that for the express paid listing, I had not clicked all the way through each of the other directories though.

Only assume they are all the same

Ok, I've been working on this for a few hours this morning and have had a fair amount of success.

Following on from the helpful posts above, which I do appreciate, I have tried to find the relevant pages without any success, and as also stated above, tiscali gets its results from overture, so no go there, but if I or anyone else has missed anything, has anyone here come across the add url page for FREE to any of these :

btopenworld.co.uk

tiscali.co.uk

ntl.co.uk

uknetguide.co.uk

Any help appreciated.

Dougie.

Last time I looked btopenworld.co.uk ntl.co.uk were powered by Google.

tiscali.co.uk is Overture (see above)

uknetguide.co.uk (see above also)

ntl
uses google

btopenworld
uses google

aol
uses a filtered google

If you make sure you have a good listing with google and if possible inktomi has spidered your site free or you will have to have a PFI (paid for inclusion)

Do a search at google for "Optimising for Inktomi"

inktomi is used by
msn
bbc
about
blueyonder
backup search for overture
backup search for espotting

there are a few more but this will get you started
