Has anybody ever noticed that, certainly at the moment, their directory does not extend beyond 15 pages.

Pick on subjects like computers, travel, etc and you get a huge number of hits which are listed in alphabetical order. Try finding one that begins with 'W' and you usually end up on page 15 with nothing beyond, even though you aare nowhere near the 'W's.

yeah - has been like this for quite a while.

What's worse, is that they've changed their links from good honest, spiderable, PageRank delivering Lovely to can't spider me redirect/tracking code.

Splut RIP. I used to love you. Now I feel jilted :(

Using your example there are 21 sub-categories which make up the "Computers" category. Click on the relevant sub-category (none of which run to more than 15 pages IIRC) and you should find what you're looking for. It has always been this way AFAIK.

What's worse, is that they've changed their links
This is so that we can properly track what's going in/out and for what keywords/phrases. As a matter of fact, this is how it was originally, but for a while changed such that non-paid bids were direct links.

You misunderstand. Go to the home page and click on Computers. Then scroll down to foot of page and you will see the navigation tree which extends to 15 pages.

After page 3 it begins to work itself through the alphabet. Click on Page 15 and you will find yourself on the page where all the sub-categories begin with the letter 'C' and there it ends. There are no pages beyond page 15 dealing with sub-categories commencing with letters D to Z.

I discovered this when searching for my own site. I was notified by Splut that my site had been accepted and could be found at Home > Travel > Accommodation > Self-Catering

My site begins with a V. It IS there in the Splut directory, but you try finding it going through the Home > Travel > Accommodation > Self-Catering route

Splut still gets a good amount of usage in the UK. Worth being in even without the pageRank benefit in my opinion.
