Splut - does their PPC work

It's too cheap to be for real

Just taken another look at SPLUT for UK PPC listings, and the bids are very low relative to most of the larger PPC's. Anyone have any success/failure/anything with them and care to share.

Looks a bit like they have no traffic from the low bids?

Hi,

Am not part of their PPC model but I have a few listings in their SERP's which has a steady flow of traffic each month! Obviously nothing in comparison to Google/Yahoo but enough to mention!

It's real traffic. The bids arte only low because there is not that much of it for the big budgets to play with at times.

I'd take it if you have the inclination... it'll take a while to spend your bucks, so only put down the minimum.

I used splut a while back and still have money in there.

the ROI is astounding but you couldn't buy a meal once a month on it :(

Whack £25 in it, keyword up and forget about it, the next time you need to look will be when the pound is replaced by the euro.

Yeah, thanks. My Adwords spend divided by 30 equals my Splut spend. Only difference is that the Adwords vistors actually buy stuff!

Still, on the plus side, as u rightly say, the account doesn't ever need topping up!

it's early days but as said, splut does provide enough traffic to warrant a mention. don't have stats for conversion rates though

What kind of market share has Splut got?
