We have a large group of members from locations Europe. This board is dedicated to them and their search engines.

I know as someone just now starting to play hard in the promotion game over there, good info is hard to come by. Especially in english.

Thanks to Engine for offering to moderate this forum. With years of promotion and publicity experience, I think we are in good hands.

"good info is hard to come by. Especially in english."

.....but you dont speak it on your side of the pond!!

A good source of UK SE's can be found here!

[davidmccormack.co.uk...]
Some of the "unknown" ones produce a significant number of hits- its amazing how people find the SE's to start off with.

Good luck with the forum and I'm sure I can say on behalf of all us Britts Thank You.

Seconded. It's good to find an English/Euro 'niche'.

The major engines play an important role in the world of the Internet - no question. However, as the data on the Internet continues to grow faster than these engines can cope, other resources are playing greater and more important roles.
Surprisingly, there are a number of good UK and European SEs providing useful, focused results.
As the Euroepean audience continues to grow, I believe the European and country-specifc engines and directories will serve their markets better than the US-based goliaths.
So, get your UK/Euro-hat on and let's make this resource valuable to everyone - including our friends across the "pond."

I've narrowed down the focus to just UK engines here. Euro engines have become a bit of a hot topic and I felt they needed spreading around a bit more.
