I am looking for a simple way to automatically disconnect and reconnect my Ethernet connection. I am sharing my bandwidth some time every day and would like to make it easy to stop and start my connection any ideas welcome.

Set up a new location in the Network pane of your System Preferences. Call it "NO Ethernet." Click to "Network Port Configurations" in that location and uncheck your "Built-in Ethernet."

Then, you can switch from one location to another just by changing the choice in the dropdown and clicking "Apply Now."

Is that easy enough? :)

You can also find an "applescript to change network location" available on macosxhints' forum.
