Im looking for a new printer for a classroom where i work as a technician. Im looking for a colour laser printer with scanning capabilities and alos copying abbilities. I also need this to be shared and to be used accross a workgroup of 15 or so Macs. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Also i have a b/w laser printer with a static IP address does anyone know a script i can run to add it at sratup to each machine?

Many Thanks

I have had great success with HP and all operating systems provided I used hp replacement parts but depending on your volume you might look at the HP Officejet 9120 printer/fax/scanner/copier.

If this isn't right then goto:
[welcome.hp.com ]

And click the link for "Help me choose a printer" here you can put all your specs in and they will tell you what to get pretty efficently.

As for the printer on the network - Goto >>> System Preferences >>> Printers and Faxes and you can add many types of printers there. And once there they are installed there your normally fine. In any case you didn't provide enough info to tell you more on how to install your printer and sometimes there are pathways to follow for those.

Good Luck!
