quicktime problem

basically anything that has to do with quicktime has not been working. whenever i want to watch a .mov file from the internet the browser will "unexpectedly quit." same thing when i try to open quicktime or itunes. a chat support told me to delete the qt packages from the recipts folder and reinstall 7.0.2, but no dice.

try removing Quicktime 7.0.2 and reinstalling QT 6.5.2 if you are using OS 10.3.9

you have to do it in 2 steps though, first you revert to 7.0.1 and then you use another installer to revert to 6.5.2

I used the 7.0.1 to 6.5.2 re-installer and it worked perfectly
