Little problems, including here on WW

I've had a few sites today that've had minor rendering problems, I think mostly with header tags wrapping and being cropped/boxed in.

Anyone else seeing minor problems with Safari on 10.4.1, or is it me?

The Safari team (aka "Dave [weblogs.mozillazine.org]") have been working to make Safari pass the 'Acid2 browser test [webstandards.org]'. So any problems are probably a result of it being more compliant.

Peter - I'm running Safari on 10.4.1 and I see no difference at all in any of the pages I've browsed.

Not sure what that means as far as your installation is concerned, however!

DCrombie... fascinating and brutal test page that one! It's defeated every browser I have on the Mac - does it pass on any PC browser you're aware of?

AFAIK no current browser passes the test. But, according to Dave, the next release of Safari will.

I've seen several rendering problems with Safari 2.x in both 10.4 and 10.4.1. This has been especially true when accessing Google Adsense admin pages. It's so bad, that I've switched back to Firefox. Firefox still has issues with multimedia files (particurarly flash), but for the most part, it renders more reliably than Safari.
