I could not post on the previous thread on this topic.

I saw someone said that if i gave an absolute path, then the file would work on MAC when embeded into a HTML doc.

How would i determine the absolute path if the files are burned to a CD?

macs dont have D:/whatever

Thanks for the help

Not sure what you are trying to do here.... are you trying to view a .wmv file that is on a CD?

If so, open Windows Media Player, in the file menu choose open, then navigate to the CD which should show up on your desktop.

Hope this helps...

file:///Volumes/The%20Name%20You%20Gave%20Your%20CD/SomeFile.wmv

(Get paths by opening an empty Safari window and dragging a local file into the window. Or write/find an applescript to do it for you.)

Be careful when expecting that every Window user uses D for the CD drive they'll put your CD in. ;)

Added: Also be careful expecting mac users to have a program that can play a WMV file.
