Recommended requirments for running cubase are a dual 1.8ghz power mac, has anyone got any experience of how this software compares to when it is run on say an G5 imac 1.8ghz 512ram for instance?

I havent had any experience with this app on a Mac, but my cousin is a music student and at college all the machnines running cubase are all G5 Mac's.

I have Cubase SX version 1 - yes, old and buggy - but it runs on a single processor 466MHz G4 quite OK if you don't do too much in the way of audio effects and tracks simultaneously.

(Better on my 1.8GHz G5 though!)

I find it runs ok on my 1.5Ghz G4 laptop. But then again, since I started doing web stuff, I haven't used it a whole lot so my opinion may not count for much.
