Simple Text has lost it's Undo in OS X 10.3

How do I fix this?

I'm a webmaster who prefers Simple Text over any other html editor being as i write all my code by hand. However it has lost it's undo function since installing in OS X 10.3. Anyone know of a way to "undo" this?

You can also do your editing in the Terminal (pico is the default), or, for the Desktop, I've been using Tex-Edit which is basically a beefed-up version of SimpleText.

(my SimpleText still has it's Undo under OS X 10.3.5)

You might want to check out BBEdit. It blows away any other editor I've ever seen for writing code by hand.

Are you running Simple Text in classic mode? You may just want to switch to TextEdit (the installed OS X text editing app) to regain your undo capability. It has some other nifty things you may like without adding any complexity like BBEdit.

Although, personally, I really like BBEdit. :)

Smultron is a really nice text editor oriented to coding - and it's free. Try it.
