I have a second hard drive in a older G4 that we are logging into and using as a file server. The machine is used form time to time by people for random tasks so we set access to the second drive to admins only. This is used for all of our Web Development. We are running into a problem where if one of the users creates a new file and saves it to the Web Drive others can only view the filie. Someone has to go in and manually reset the permissions on the files.

What can we do to get past this? Would going into Netinfo/groups/ and adding each admin to the others users solve this?

Have you tried using umask to set the defaults for new files?
