Mac USB trackball with smooth-scrolling wheel?

Can't find one!

I can't believe that this product doesn't exist, at least not that I can find....

I prefer trackballs to mice, since I don't have a lot of space for a mouse to move around (don't ask).

And of course having a scroll wheel is nice, because it lets you scroll faster. And as long as I'm using a scroll wheel, I prefer one that scrolls smoothly, rather than one that clicks into each position in a jerky fashion.

And I'm using a Mac, so I need USB.

And finally, I prefer to use my thumb to control the ball, not my index finger.

So far as I can tell, there's no such product for the Mac.

My Belkin Trackmaster that I use on my Windows computer is perfect, except it's not USB and Belkin doesn't make trackballs any more.

The Logitech Trackman and the Kensington Expert Mouse are USB, but they both have that annoying click-into-position scroll wheel instead of a smooth scrolling scroll wheel.

There's a Microsoft trackball, but it assumes I want to use my index finger to control the ball instead of my thumb, so the buttons are in the wrong place.

I opened up a Logitech Trackman and filed all the grooves off the internal wheel so it *feels* like it scrolls smoothly when I use it, but what happens on the screen is that it still jerks the thumb by a predetermined distance rather than one pixel at a time.

Anyone know of a thumb-controlled USB trackball with a smooth scroll wheel?
