rearraging the icons on your Dock to spell words...

anybody else do this? my buddy pointed it out to me and since then I've been scouting for applications with icons with 1 letter in them so i can make new words.

The longest word on my current Dock -- Dweeb
(dreamweaver,Word,Entourage, Explorer, BBEdit)

perhaps I have too much to time on my hands?

It occurred to me that if I downloaded a version of Netscape I could spell 'women' ... also, since I have Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Flash, I would just need a 'u' application to spell 'Duff' (Simpsons fans?) or an 'l' application to spell 'wolfmen'...

Phoo... get an icon editor, and ALL your applications can have letters for icons! :)

I like Iconographer.

But I also prefer little pictures to letters.

Oh good grief! We Mac users really need some security holes w/viruses to keep us busy!

You don't even have to edit your own icons to have the letters. Save your disk space for apps you want, and download the free alphabet icons from the Iconfactory pixelpalooza page- a lovely alphabet is available...
I love iconographer, too. Rearranginging my desktop is a great escape from menu building some days.
