Mac to Windows Server 2003 Problems

I recently deployed my first Windows 2003 Server in a mixed Macintosh/PC environment. Everything has worked well, except that I'm encountering problems logging into the server from any Macintosh machines, be it OS 9 or 10. I have file services for Macintosh enabled and I can see the Server from the Macs. Whenever I try to connect it brings up the login screen, but there is no username or password boxes. Guest access is grayed out as well. Some searches I have done lead me to believe that it is an encryption problem, but I have been unable to find a solution. Thanks in advance for any help.

Ah.. the great Server 2003 problem. I actually just had this problem myself a couple of weeks ago. You have to follow the instructions below on your W2k3 server.

Go to start -> admin tools -> domain controller security policy

Open security options under local policies

Turn the following two options to disabled:
Microsoft network client: digitally sign communications (always)
Microsoft network server: digitally sign communications (always)

You'll have to reset the server afterwards for the settings to take effect. I think there is a way to just refresh the security settings, but I forgot that step.

I have followed these steps and I'm still having the same problem.
