Can use fast user switching, but powerbook G4 hangs up when switches to second user. Must power down to restart. Can log out and log in to second user, so it seems to me that the problem is I can't have two users running at the same time.

No known solution, but just a suggestion...does either account have any "login" items? If so, if you disable them, does the problem go away?
