any thoughts on wot's the best browser for mac os9.1, I tried downloading mozilla but it seems to be only osx compatible, I don't use the mac a lot so I won't be upgrading anytime soon but I'd just like some half decent alternative to internet snorer 5, which is a bit of a disaster (apart from the collapsing 'swooshing left' nav bar which I never get sick of playing with!)

any ideas?

Here's a list of a bunch of them:

If you want something light and fast, you might try iCab.If you like Mozilla, you might check out Eharunaga.

The last Mozilla build for OS9 was 1.21, you can get it here (about 2/3 down the page):
[mozilla.org...]

I use 1.2 myself, which works fine.

There's a special version of Mozilla 1.3.1 for Mac OS 8.6 & 9.x. Information can be found here : [t3.rim.or.jp...] and [wamcom.org...]

It's been working perfectly for me on both a PowerBook 3400 with PPC 603e processor and a PowerBook Kanga with G3 processor - both under Mac OS 9.1
