Hi
Could anyone recommend some email management software which will enable us to email various lists we have built up and handle replies etc. We are talking of about 1000 customers we would like to send tailored emails to once a month using templates. We would like to track if they are opened etc which I understand can be possible.

At the moment the email lists are just on Entourage which is not capable of what we want.

I am on OSX.

Many thanks

Giles

No experience with mac based email software myself, but I would highly recommend searching on Google or Overture for something like that - use specific keywords, which will help.

Tip: the ads, in this case, may work better than the SERP's depending on how many companies are offering such software.

Hello Giles:

A french mac user here, living in the south of Spain.
And my first reading and posting in this unbelievable forum.

Maybe I can help you.
I use a very strong software called Maxbulk.
It is shareware. For MacoS 9 and OS X.
I know the programmer because, like me, he lives in Spain and we are both frenchies.

I have various lists all "opt-in" and we use maxbulk to send our newsletter bi-monthly, almost 15.000 emails.
You can send text, Richtext or html with "firstname", "email..and all the tags you need.
At this time, Maxbulk (http://www.maxprog.com) is not helping me to track who reads or not.
But it is a strong sender (better than Entourage or Eudora) and I use it since 3 years, now.

If you decide to keep it and to pay the low fee, tell me and I send you something you will be interested ;-)

Hope it helps!
saludos
Bernard

You might take a look at this page on Apple [apple.com]. Specifically look at Document Express.
