OS X - Explorer - Cookies

Having a problem with cookies?

Is anyone else on OS X having a problem with explorer retaining cookies or prefs. I used to be able to go to sites such as WWorld.com and never need to relogin. Now it seems if I am sitting for an hour our two my cookie vanishes. Same thing happens with autofill and security alerts. I turn them off and an hour or two they come back. I have tried trashing the prefs and starting over, but nothing. Even after the hard drive crashed on my TiBook and I had to put in a new drive and reinstall everything. My tower is also doing the same thing. Am I alone on this one?

No you are not alone, while I dont use much of IE on my Macs, I noticed the following issues with version 5.2.1.

It does not handle your choices if you define cookie preferences for each sites. Previous version could remember my choices, not anymore. Sites I have configured to "remember me" don't seem to. ALL cookies seem to be session cookies and next time into IE I get prompted again.
