I have 4 templates and like 50 .htm pages. How do I change the template to effect the pages?

Thanks for any help/comments!

Open the template instead of the pages and edit it. When you save the edited template, Dreamweaver will ask you if you want to update the documents based on that template.

If you're trying to open the template from one of the documents the template is based on, it won't work. Dreamweaver stores templates in a special directory called Templates on the same level as your root directory. If you go into that directory and open the template, it will be fully editable.

okay, I must of been doing something really retarted, because it works fine now! lol

Anyways, I have added a layer to the template, with 2 text links but they are not showing up anywhere!

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for any help!

Wow, fixed it!

1st time working with layers...kinda neat!

The new layer was hiding under a layer, so it was not being seen;)

Thanks
