I've started using HTML-Kit with Topsyle3 and Terrapin FTP and moved on from using Frontpage2000...It,s gone with my very old computer. I have spent endless hours learning HTML,HTMXL,CSS etc, and don't regret it. My problem is, when it comes to having to do what FP did, very easily, and quickly in navigation view, i.e setting up the outline structure, managing folders and hyperlinks...I have read various articles and tutorials but, it seems there's many things to go wrong. Perhaps i'm looking in the wrong place.
Many Thanks.

P.S Wish i'd found this site earlier.
Welcome to WebmasterWorld and thanks for posting.
I use your current methodology and kind of build templates that I use over and over with minimal changes. Usually about 3-4 basic templates per site and just fill in the content.
Dreamweaver is a popular program that many webmasters swear by for layout and design although I really haven't used it myself.
I started with FP and while I've since ditched it I know where you're coming from. There are many tools out there that can give you what you need. Is there an all-in-one Swiss Army knife? The simple answer is no. I use a variety of tools to accomplish what I need. I don't even use a GUI builder like DW anymore. I'm back to hand-coding everything.
The tip that JamesR shared is how I do it for a site. I build a handful of templates (depending upon how many different layouts are required) and then re-use them as necessary.
I simply don't trust a GUI tool. Not even DW. But that's my preference - not everyone's. And you will need to find a suite of tools that suits you best.
What you can do is ask the Board about specific tools like if you want something that will check links or display your website in a organization chart format. This Board has so many different people and experiences available to you I'd be surprized if your question wasn't answered quickly.
I really don't want to go down the DW route, or go back to using FP.
Can anyone recommend something like Lorax suggested that doesn't cost megabucks, mainly to display a website in an organization chart format.
If there isn't, can someone recommend a good tutorial, that covers this area.
Many Thanks.
