Can somebody kindly tell me - is it acceptable to have both (Nescape 7 and Internet Explorer) Browsers on your desk top.

Would it cause major problems?
Or would you need to choose one or the other? - please note that I have an XP operating system

Thanks.

Flo,

I have IE6.0 SP1, Netscape 7.02, Netscape 4.80, Opera 6.05, and Mozilla 1.3 installed right now, and they all get along, except for Netscape 7.02 and Mozilla 1.3. If you run both of those, it seems to be necssary to set up two separate "profiles" - user names - to prevent them from interfering with each other.

HTH,
Jim

Hiya. Morgan.

Thanks for that.

Do you mean two separate screen names on your computer login?

Flo,

No, two separate "profiles" as defined internally by Netscape/Mozilla browsers.

I have Netscape7 and IE6 on my desktop. They never interfere with each other when I use them same time.

From everything I've heard, the only browser you can't have multiple versions of is IE.
