I just wanted to make sure I understand this correctly...if I want to be anonymous as a webmaster, I can simply use proxy domain registration? Is that it? It's that simple?

I wanted to start an LLC to own my website, and I know my corporate information, including my name and business address, will be public (although I think it's possible to have an anonymous LLC in Nevada). However, if I never list the name of the corporation on the website, then there will be no way to connect the website back to me, right?

What on earth are you planning on doing with this web site, that you want to ensure that nobody can trace it back to you afterwards?

jup youre right about the proxy registration, in theory at least. There have been some reports that all it takes is a letter from a lawier to the registration service to get your name. No accustation of anything needed, just a letter!

There can never be such a thing as total Anonymity. My advice would be never do anything that you wouldn't be prepared to put your name to. Either ethically, or more importantly legally.
