Hi
I have my own website and often exchange links with other sites. Just recently I have noticed that some sites add something at the end of my URL and I am just curious as to what it means or what it is for, and mainly is it hurting my site in any way?
example; www.mysite.com
they would put www.mysite.com%20/
What does the %20/ mean and why do they put it?

Thanks in advance!

%20 is a space... so the code people are using to link to you has a space between the m and the slash.

Yes, this causes your link to be broken. Check to make sure it's not something you've accidently added when providing them your code. Then you will need to contact them to correct the problem.

Hey
Thanks Lindsay. Yeah I guess that makes sense, I've just been back and checked the link and its not working. I will contact them immediately.
Thanks again.
