Will the Spiders Find These

Hi Guys

Regarding some recent posts that advocate the use of separate pages for slightly different keywords or phrases, I am wondering how to go about this.

For instance, I may have a keyword phrase for "blue-widgets" and also "blue widgets" and I have seen some advice saying to make a separate page for each and let the spider find them, resulting in covering both terms.

My question is this:
Can I create the two separate pages with site links and drop them into, say, the root directory and leave them for the spider to pick up, or do I have to have both of those pages linked into the site someplace to force the spider to see them?

Thanks

spiders only follow links, so you would need a link somewhere to the pages.

Welcome to the board, Derob.

Agreed, and it generally helps when first doing a site to figure the keywords and pages in when designing the navigation system.

Thanks for the replies.

In relation to the advice of making a page to suit BOTH keywords: blue-widgets and blue widgets. How do you link to both of those pages without making the thing look silly.

Thanks
