I am trying to establish emails for my URL. (e.g. myname@mycompany.com) however am having a few problems.

From the cPanel I have two email options - Webmail and Mail - in Webmail I have access to Horde and SquirrelMail which I don't have any idea about.

When I go into Mail from the cPanel I have clicked on Configure Email Client which only allows me to choose Microsoft Outlook Express IMAP or POP3 I have chosen POP3 and then gone to Outlook Express where I am able to set up the new email address, I can then send emails to another email I have but when I reply to them they are not arriving in my new Outlook Express Account - Is this something I am doing wrong? I have asked my host but am still awaiting a reply.

I hope this makes sense and I hope someone is able to provide advice - I would just like to know if I am trying to do the right thing or is there another way I should be going about it.

Thank you for any advice.

Outlook requires that you set up the ionformation for both outgoing mail server (POP3) and incoming mail servers (SMTP). It sounds as though you may have entered the wrong information for the incoming server.

This would probably be something like ...

smtp.yourprovider.co.uk
or
auth.smtp.yourprovider.co.uk.

I would check this again.

Thanks for your reply.

Would this be:
smtp.mysite.co.uk
smtp.myhost.co.uk, or
smtp.aol.co.uk as my internet provider

I would assume that it is AOL.
