How do you take a picture of a homepage of a website so you can use the image of the whole page on another site.

Like "here is a list of other websites ive created" and then have little pictures of the homepages.

Im talking about using my own sites so no copyright stuff is needed.

Thanks for your help..im sure its really easy.

Assuming you are using Windows, then you can grab an image of the active screen using Alt+PrtScr

Then paste it into any image editor and do with it as you will.

just open image editor of your choice (Photosho, PSP, Paint, etc.), open a new doc, and paste

Well Alt + Prt Scr doesnt seem to do anything at all im afraid or if it does I dont know where the picture has gone on my computer.

And do you mean just copy and paste the webpage to an image creator, this wont make it exactly the same as the webpage will it?

I just need a screenshot of the entire computer screen....anyone else got any ideas?

alt-PrtSc captures the currently active window into the clipboard. If you want the whole screen press PrtSc - open "Paint" - Paste - goto Image menu - Stretch/skew and reduce the image to 10% of its previous size.

There is a great extension for Firefox that will grab an entire web page reagardless of whether it all displays on screen. Very handy. Search for "Firefox Screen Grab Extension".
