I wonder if someone can give some advice.
I wrote an ebook some months ago that is related to careers and shyness. It is currently selling at $5.95 and I have been told by several people that I should be selling it for a higher price.
I would also like to start an affiliate program or something similar, where a person helping me to sell it would receive a commission. I was thinking of putting the price up to around $10.00 - $11.00.
What I would like to know is how can I continue to sell it for a little while at the original price and let people know at the same time that I will be putting the price up? I want to be using the right phrase to do this.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards
Andrea
By selling the product cheap you will get more sales. By selling the product dearer you will get less sales. Question is will you end up making more money by selling it cheap but in higher quantity, or dearer but in smaller volume.
The idea to bring out a version 2 is a great. If I where you I would wait until January and bring out a 2006 version. This gives you plenty of time to polish up the content. You can keep on selling the current version at the current price, and offer the brand new 2006 version for a few bucks more.
Glad to see you are making sales. :)
