How can I best exploit my new page?

Refresh for new joke page needs ideas

I have a joke php page that pulls a new joke every time you refresh it. The jokes are all about changing lightbulbs. I must say in terms of coding, its not bad as a page, quite addictive.

Now I would love to put a google advert on it, but I gather it would get me banned as people will click repeatedly on the reload button to see the page.

Now I have almost perfected this structure I would like to see the best way to exploit it for income, any ideas of the type of adds I could stick on it that would work?

I think youre right about Adsense being a "no go" with this sort of page. The CTR would be very low due to the number of page views per user.

I think you should look for affiliate programs that are in some way related to jokes, hummor etc. Most affiliate programs dont care about impressions, they are only interested in clicks, leads and sales.

How about givign each joke its own url like example.com/joke012345 and each "refresh" actually bumps to a different page? Than each page can be spidered seperately for adsense. Of course targeting will still be to teh joke, so I'm no sure what kind of ads you're expecting.
